Progress on my Churn Dash Quilt.

 Good evening my friends. The last eight Churn blocks for  quilt.

Some blue and a purple prints. The blocks are done. 

Next month putting together but some sashing to get.

Till then some sewing time hopefully.

Hello my friends.  

This month`s eight blocks made, now I have twenty-four blocks.

I have to more pieces o fabric to find as only need two blocks to make in fabric`s already chosen.

Churn Dash Blocks

 My pile  Churn Dash blocks is growing. I`m making three of each colour. Still have some fabrics to add. 

I`m joining in with Chookyblue and some ladies with Churn Dash quilt by Karen Styles from the Beginner`s Guide to Quilting Quilters`s Companion Magazine,

Showing Blocks

At last I am able to blog again. 

I have joined with Chookyblue and a few others making Churn block's (8 each month ) to make  Karen Styles `Churn Dash` quilt from Quilters Companion Beginners Guide to Quilting. This magazine has been in a folder for some years. 

Well that`s my blocks for June. I will sort fabric`s for next month`s 8 blocks.

It`s a learning curve to remember what I used to do.

I`ve been busy with Christmas stitching.

This was given today to Ella.

She was so pleased to have her own `Shepherds Bush `

stocking like Ezekiel`s.

`Peace on Earth` 

  

I finished these as suggested,and have given them away 

as gifts.

All are received and so can show.

Hello my friends.

I stitched the fence and urn on

`Strawberry Fields Forever`

by BBD.

This is my $25 quilt by Delbrook ready now for 

quilting. It was fun getting the layers together

as my sewing/quilting unit takes up the space I usually 

use.

I am also stitching 

`Jack Frost Tree Farm` 

as a whole piece to be framed once finished.

I now have all the designs,only to find time to stitch on this one.

Well these last few weeks I`ve had my hubby have a 

Trans Global Amnesia attack lasting thankfully only

an hour and a half. He`s had a scan through the acute

assessment ward and everything`s fine now.

He`s had two weeks without driving and stand-down from 

being a fireman. He`s a volunteer for this but involved 

in keeping the station going which he enjoys. 

Things are back to normal, he`s even helped at Youth Camp this weekend.

I`ve been rearranging my sewing and stitching.

This is still in progress hence I have 

miss placed my pattern and threads for

Hence no stitching to finish this. :(

A stitching lady

Hello my friends,

I have had our youngest daughter and children staying with their pets

while they where between homes.

Yesterday was moving day.

There is still a few things left by my sewing area,

so no sewing for a few days.

 By Tuesday I should be able to get to my machines.

I am so close to finishing and I will frame this one.

I made this project bag by following Kimberly of

The Fat 1/4 Shop`s tutorial.

Mine is a little smaller but fits my project

and so I`m happy using it.

This was a surprise in the mail from a friend in USA. 

When we were over there we went to a State Fair 

in Ohio,so this will be fun to stitch and remembering 

the memories.
