Spring time.

Hello my friends,
The Clematis is flowering amazingly,
new buds and open flowers.
So pretty.

The Clematis climbs around the mesh of our deck.

I find I try to wind them through otherwise the tendrils
take over.

`Sew in Love` BOM block Two.
The pattern says eight of this block.
The angle of photo showing that points off but the aren`t.
Happy Stitching,
Clare.

Block of the Month.

Hello my friends,
I am working on a few BOM`s. :)
This is one from
The Country Yard,
`Whimsical Woodland Mystery`.

Month 7 a little fox.

`Sew in Love`
by Edyta Sitar of Laundry Baskets.
BOM through Fat 1/4 Shop.
These take time to come across the sea.
Enjoying getting the parcels in the post and then
making blocks up.
I have put these away ready for next block to come.
The patterns are in the book which came with part one.
Happy Stitching,
Clare.

Projects

Hello my friends.
I have mostly been stitching,
but also machine piecing.

First `Tis the Season`.
I found this Cardinal Christmas fabric to make a
Project Bag to keep everything for this project in.

This months Delbrook block.

These check-a-board blocks are for
The Country Yard mystery
`Winter Charm`.

Last week we had so much rain that the back paddock
had flooding,so much that I couldn`t  do the
washing as the septic had problems.
There was a watch on the toilet too!!

The above photo is just through the gate not far from the house.

Showing near the back.

Now the waters gone hubby planted strawberry plants in tyres.

Peanut cuddling one of his toy mice.
Well must finishing prep for tea.
Happy Stitching,
Clare.

SAL Stitching

Hello my friends.
SAL`s:
`Peace on Earth`
To balance my stitching I think I may change part
of the first flower.
(changing the colour I thought would help with my linen
but not so sure now.)
I will finish the vine leaves then to the house and snow flakes,
before  going back to the Cardinal.

This the linen and threads from Nancy`s.

The start date was the first of September,
so Kath and I stitched together yesterday afternoon.
My camera batteries had gone flat :( so no photos
till I came home for me.
So I have nearly completed the edge on on end.
Once snowflake sorted I want to start on Cardinal.

I was following the pattern with 1 over 2 but with
these lovely soft threads using 2 over 2 is better.
So a bit of reverse stitching and staying up late
I was able to move on in the design.
I will get on with starting my day,
then stitch some on these two designs this afternoon and this evening.
Not sure which will be first.
Happy Stitching,
Clare.
