Tis the Season Bag

Hello again.
A quick visit with you today.
I have a little time to show my `Tis the Season bag` for Chookyblues SAL.

I used fabrics from my Christmas collection.
Then I used a different stitchery from the book.
I quilted hearts in the plain parts.
This I will use as my purse in December.

The  back of my bag. I quilted hexagons on this to go with hexagon panel in the front.
This fabric is from years ago but I love the different fabric and designs in it.
I`ve sorted most my fabrics for next months for next months SAL
`Some Kind of Wonderful Sewing Case`.
I`ve only to decide on my lining.
Looking forward to working on this.

As you know I love a mystery so when I saw LHN
had `Songs of the Season` I had to find a way to do this.
The Embroiderer was where I purchased mine.
This came late last month.
I couldn`t wait to start.

I completed part one by the 1st of July and now I`m waiting for part two this month.
Thankyou Diane for such a lovely stitchery.
I so enjoy LHN  patterns.
Well best get on as have a birthday cake for my Mums birthday to ice then go to see her.
Today`s her birthday.
Thankyou for your lovely comments, it`s like we have been visiting with each other.
Happy Stitching,
Clare.

  3. Hi Clare-Your Song of the Seasons looks great! Did you use the WDW Straw linen called for in the pattern? I got Straw and think it looks too dark. So I held off starting the design. What is your linen?

  9. Your bag is a beauty Clare, and the LHN mystery is looking lovely, I'm keeping an eye on that one, wondering what block 2 and 3 will be like. The sneak peeks on Diane's blog look pretty with birds and flowers. Your swap gifts and Tillies Lane on your last post are looking gorgeous too... you've been a very busy girl!!
