Catch up part two

Hello my friends,
time for another visit with me.
We were having an over flow problem when it rained with water running off the roof
so since we are now on part mains supply Hubby put up a smaller tank  and used the large one to take over flow. This water is used for the garden.
He worked on this while on a holiday break.

Also he went fishing and caught these two.
It was fish for tea.

This years `Mystery` from `The Country Yard`.
is using `Cottage Garden Thread` 1001 Red Carnation.
It is stitching up lovely.

Month one. I seem to be keeping up.

Month two

Month three.
Month four came the other day but forgot to take a photo!

Our grandson turned five this week and started school.
This lovely cake was made by my Son-in laws sister.
What an amazing creation. Yummy cake .

He was Spiderman for the day. Time to unwrap some gifts.

LHN  Little Sheep Virtue, these three are on display.
I`ve finished stitching `Courage` but still  sorting what felt to finish that one.
I`ve started to stitch `Faith` so may finish those two together.
I`m enjoying stitching these.
Well I need to get going so will catch up again soon.
Thankyou for the visit.
Happy Stitching,
Clare.

Catching up

Hello my friends.
So glad you could come for a visit.
Time for me to have a few `catch up` posts.
In April my friend Katrina(A kiwi Stitching) had her birthday.
I was late getting her gift to her but here it is.
A block roll and `A Stitcher`s Companion`.

This is `Jeanette Douglas Designs` pattern
`We Stitch, We Share, We Create`
The front .
A few close ups of my work.

The centre of the outside with button to close after folding.

The back panel that gets folded in.

The centre of this lovely `Stitchers Companion`

A close up of the stitched little verse.
This was the only part stitched one over one.
I used Cottage Garden thread # 604 Kingfisher with DMC threads to compliment this.
Well best get on till my next catch up post.
Thankyou for your visit and I enjoy the lovely comments that you give me.
Happy Stitching,
Clare.
